Horse and Petting Pal Interaction, Inc. (HAPPI Farm) is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization that seeks to better the lives of others through interaction with a wide variety of animals. We reach out to many groups of people including disadvantaged children, youths at risk, seniors and military veterans. Many research studies have shown this interaction to be emotionally and physically beneficial. Studies have also concluded it is an effective alternative education. HAPPI Farm operates strictly on the goodwill of the public.
Why Try Animals
Our organization uses a wide variety of animal friends and activities to help improve the quality of life for our participants. Research and personal testimonies show that Animal-Assisted Therapy has the potential to produce priceless benefits in those with special needs and medical conditions. As any average pet owner will attest, having an animal friend to care for and interact with makes life a little brighter in a very unique way. We at HAPPI Farm believe that animals are teachers and healers. They do not judge, they give immediate feedback and they love unconditionally. Human interaction is not often as kind. Animal Therapy can help to put a student at ease and promote learning and growth.

What We Do
We, at HAPPI Farm, assist students and their families to participate in fun activities and learn useful skills in a healthy environment. The staff teaches our students valuable skills with the help of a large cast of animal friends. Animals and humans have a unique potential to bond, and we use that bond to create a friendly and positive environment for learning and making friends. The presence of a trusted animal companion can reduce anxiety and break down barriers common in special needs students. We offer a variety of programs to suit our diverse clientele. We hope that we have a program that's right for you, whether you're interested in riding lessons, caring for our animals, or just giving them love and attention! We assist special needs students of all ages. All U.S. military veterans and seniors are invited to visit HAPPI Farm. We are also available for school field trips. Those who don't qualify for insurance, or are unable to afford lessons may submit an application for a sponsored scholarship.
