  • To become a volunteer, fill out and submit the contact form on this page. We will email the Registration Forms back to you asap.
  • Registration Forms required: Read and COMPLETELY fill out HAPPI Farm’s attached Application and Animal Activity Release Forms. Print and staple the forms. Bring the hard copy on the day you are dressed to start. If less than 18, parents MUST sign the forms.
  • Volunteer Hours: NO APPOINTMENT NECESSARY, you can work around your own schedule. We need volunteers every day, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM. (Please sign in with Marie if your service hours must be verified.)
  • You must bring your own food, drinks, ice, sunscreen and insect repellent. You MUST bring your own drinking water – 1 Gallon of water, at the very least, is mandatory! We work hard in the sun and it gets very hot so volunteers must bring plenty of beverages. You might want to bring snacks or lunch if planning to stay for more than two hours.
  • Attire: You will get dirty so wear old clothes for farm environment. RAIN BOOTS and long socks are mandatory. NO SANDALS or open-toed shoes are permitted.
  • Age Requirement: HAPPI Farm does not accept volunteers younger than 15 years old without an adult to supervise each volunteer.
  • Volunteer Duties: Our main concern is the safety of all participants. The volunteers will assist instructors with feeding, saddling, walking horses, cleaning and caring for the animals and assist in the supervision of our guests. It is required that volunteers are able to lift 30 pounds and must inform us if you have any medical conditions that might prevent them from working at certain tasks.
"I am a volunteer for HappiFarm, and with great pleasure I must say HappiFarm is a wonderful non-profit organization. They are very considerate for others and their purpose to help the community is amazing. Taking the time to check out HappiFarm is something you will not regret. The staff are hard workers and the agency makes many people happy. It is a joy volunteering for HappiFarm." Angie B.

"The founder of HAPPI Farm, Ms. Marie, is an extremely wonderful and enthusiastic person! I'm on the west coast, while her organization is on the east coast (I'm helping with online presence, so it can be done online), but she is endlessly helpful and gracious with her time and communicates with style and grace. Her organization HAPPI Farm provides services and activities that are near and dear to me, as I have relatives and friends who could benefit from what her organization has to offer for everyone. My sincere hope is that more people will recognize how much they can benefit from working with her."
