"GREAT SERVICE, FRIENDLY ENVIRONMENT! I came here to ride horses for my first time, and it was an absolute experience; the staff guided me through how to ride a horse and took us on the most beautiful trail. The staff were cheerful and the environment was welcoming. There's also a variety of animals to interact with... I couldn't ask for a better experience!"
"Happi Farm is a gem nestled in Southwest Ranches. Definitely great place to take your kids-- the volunteers are helpful and everyone really seems to be passionate about the animals. Overall a memorable experience!"

"My kids and I love HAPPI farm. We have been going for years. Kids love Cherie and always enjoy interacting with all the super friendly animals. Cherie loves her community and enjoys teaching children and providing a safe friendly environment where any child or adult can experience a comfortable place to walk freely among the animals and have a very therapeutic outdoorsy adventure."
"We went there today for 90 minutes horse back ride. It was so amazing! From the moment we got there we were greeted by amazing staff and volunteers. I have never met such friendly animals! Where else can you pet an emu and sheep at the same time! The horses are in great shape they really take care of there animals they are so happy you can tell. I can't wait to go back I recommend this place 100%".
To Marie, "Thank you so much for showing me Happi Farm and letting me pet the animals. Everyone was so nice. Thanks to all who helped me. I want to ride! It would be very therapeutic. I hope to ride on Thursday, my daughter will be with me. Thanks."

"Had an amazing time! Long enjoyable ride at your own pace oe as you please :) amazing nice staff! You can see the love and passion to the animal!"
"My family and I had a wonderful experience here. Such a great variety of animals to see and the woman who introduced them to us had names for almost all of them! It was such a personal touch and you can tell she truly loved these animals and really engaged all of us to interact with them. My son loved the Emu and my daughter is still talking about Henry the llama! To top it off the kids were also given a horse ride. We all had a great time and have family photos to treasure forever. The staff and volunteers were very friendly and professional. We will definitely be going back soon."
"Best experience ever, what a beautiful park to ride in. The staff gave extra attention to my 7 year old. We really enjoyed the trail ride. The horses were so fat and healthy. My son and I were able to get a brief riding lesson at the farm before we ventured out on the guided trail. The best part was the petting farm after word. We petted & played with so many animals. All included with the ride. Bets prices in town! A true hidden treasure."
"I wanted to thank you all again for the absolutely wonderful time your staff, and animals, provided my granddaughter and her friends and all the adults at her birthday party yesterday. Seeing their faces when interfacing with the animals was truly heartwarming. I could tell by their reaction to the children that they are very well cared for. The courtesy extended by the staff was nothing short of exemplary. Please continue your good work and feel free to use my name as a reference as you deem appropriate. Thanks again."
"Happi Farm is a great place for a family outing! So many nice people, nice animals, and a great location for so much fun! Even though they are a non-profit organization the owners even use their own money to feed the animal and support the farm if necessary! Plus free rides for those in need like Jodi, she is visually impaired. She is not the only person! There are other people that go there like people with Autism, mental disabilities, people in wheel chairs, and so many other conditions! They offer pony and horse rides, selling of the animals, and even tours of the farm only $10 per kid adults free and the children may also have a pony ride, pet Bunnies, Chickens, Ducks, Dogs, Goats, Cows, Horses, and even an Emu!!"
"Really enjoyed this place, it was an awesome experience I genuinely advise others to go. Everyone treated us so nice; they had all the patience in the world. The horses are beautiful and well manageable, we had a beautiful time."
"I had an amazing experience at the happiness ranch!!! Awesome trained horses, beautiful trail and lovely tour guide! Super friendly and genuine, a must visit Ranch!"
"The people at this farm were very professional and helpful... I would encourage anybody to use this business"
“Janesa is five years old and before coming to Happi Farm she was terrified of all animals and especially riding a horse. With the help of the professional people at Happi Farm she was able to ride a horse, pet and groom goats, donkeys and llamas. She retrieved eggs from the chickens and put them in the incubator and was able to see the chicks inside their eggs before they hatched. Janesa thoroughly enjoyed her experience on the farm and can't wait to visit again. I have no doubt that this will be not only a rewarding experience for her but also will encourage her to conquer her fears and get stronger each time she visits the farm.”
"My name is Bella Toskovic, and I have been riding horses since I was 7 years old. I also enjoy doing all kinds of different activities such as soccer, ballet, and tennis, but horseback riding is by far my favorite. I take lessons at Happi Farm weekly and they have provided me with the chance to interact with all kinds of different animals. Some of the animals in the petting zoo include lamas, pigs, goats, chickens, cows, ducks, rabbits, etc. I learn how to take care of horses and there are lots of volunteers to help out. There are also a bunch of horses for me to ride."
"I am so thankful for Happi Farm! Ever since I was 3 years old I have been in love with horses and dreamed of being able to ride. I took a few lessons at age 5, 6 and 8 but I never had the experience of riding the way I do at Happi Farm. It is the most enjoyable way to ride. What I love the most is that not only do I get to learn and ride but I also get to interact with many different animals such as emu, llamas, pigs, rabbits etc. I also have made many great friends such as Bella and Katelyn and we get to ride together. In addition, my health has improved since I have been there. Thank you, Happi Farm."
Berkeley is six years old and has excellent posture, balance and coordination. She started riding at HAPPI Farm one week before this photo was taken with her dad and uncle spotting her. This is what she wrote in her own words: "I love HAPPI Farm because Candy and Kisses and Glory. And I love HAPPI Farm. I feel happy when I get on a horse because I've wanted a horse my whole entire life."
"Today was amazing and Joey cried as we left because he just didn't want to leave. Please thank your friend, Valerie for coming with her guitar. Joey was very happy there and wants to dress like a cowboy next time and bring his own guitar. I think Joey was in heaven today!!! Best of both worlds, music and animals!!!!"
Manuela is ten years old and loves to be around horses. She was very sad when she first came to Happi Farm... but soon that changed! Her favorite horse, 'Fire' brought happiness into her life. Manuela's balance and riding ability has improved tremendously and she now has gained confidence and self-esteem. Her new skill is trotting.
Marcos is 6 years old. When he first arrived at HAPPI Farm, he barely spoke, was reluctant to touch a horse or bunny, and could not sit up on his own while riding. Within a few weeks, he could touch and feed the animals, could sit up independently and learned trotting on the horse. His motor coordination and posture have benefited from riding; he can now ride, catch balls, and stretch. His verbal skills have improved and he now speaks louder and clearer. He enjoys riding, is proud of his new skills, and often doesn’t want to get off the horse at the end of his lesson.
"I love to ride, and I love Happi Farm. I have this free feeling when I ride, like nothing can stop me when I'm on the horse. I love to trot because of the liberating feeling it brings to me. I have ridden since I was very young, now I ride twice a week at HAPPI Farm and I'm not planning to stop any time soon!"
"Hello! My name is Lisa Simmons and with great pleasure, I write this testimonial to let others know that there is a way to better yourself and progress to your potential without taking fistfuls of medication or hearing people say “you'll never get better”. It’s the fantastic organized therapy of holding or petting animals and riding a horse at HAPPI Farm. It may sound trite or silly but the progression I have encountered during my short time at the farm has wanted me to continue with this therapy in great hopes of wanting to walk and learning how to maintain balance. Using my core and keeping balance, reaching for the reins, turning the horse in different directions and controlling the animal has helped me focus on getting better with my ailment of Multiple Sclerosis. I can see the progression of others who have Autism or Cerebral Palsy. The way they shine and sit tall in the saddle and learn new and interesting ways of doing things have benefits that are a life time savor and a never ending thrill of accomplishment. My goal is to ride by myself (presently, I have to ride double in case I tilt too much). I used to ride and I love it and always will. I started attending classes at HAPPI Farm in June 2013. At first the owner thought I might not be able to ride. It is now May 2014 and I rode about an hour today. With continuation of riding and physical exercise, I will obtain my goals. Thank you to the volunteers and staff at HAPPI Farm."
"I have had P.P.M.S for a number of years. When I heard of the therapeutic value of equestrian therapy, I was extremely skeptical. I had never spent any time with horses and did not understand the value. I am, however, willing to try whatever may be helpful to my condition. The first session found me surrounded by many caring people concerned for my welfare. They assisted me to mount, lead me on a comfortable walk and were completely attentive to my needs. The gait of the horse forced me to have better posture and improve my balance immediately. My back pain, which has been with me for many years, also seems to have diminished. I see only positive results. I plan to continue and have already recommended equestrian therapy to others. Thank you."
Cameron is 33 years old. Due to several strokes, he suffers from memory loss, poor balance, and impaired coordination as well as anxiety and depression. When he started at HAPPI Farm, Cameron was incredibly nervous and had trouble with basic skills. He was so uncomfortable in his first three lessons that he asked to get off the horse after just fifteen minutes of riding. He benefited from stretching and breathing exercises and gradually became less anxious. Soon, his balance improved and after three weeks, he began to love riding; he felt happier, and healthier, and told his mother "horseback riding is my new passion”. Now, he rides mostly unassisted, is learning and memorizing much faster. He has even started learning more complex riding patterns, like the figure eight; his new goal is to learn to lead a horse independently. He looks forward to learning even more skills and experiencing his new way of life.
